The Centro Ricerche e Servizi Ambientali C.R.S.A. (centre for research and environmental services) located in Marina di Ravenna was founded in 1993 by Montedison Group and it is now (since the 30th January) part of MED INGEGNERIA Group.
It represents an innovative research centre specialized in consulting services and analysis for industries, private companies and local authorities.
C.R.S.A. provides a large range of services and solution in the field of environmental and health surveying and protection. C.R.S.A. laboratories provide the possibility to implement pilot site physical models (at reduced scale) for the design, construction, execution and analysis of land remediation activities.

SERVICES
C.R.S.A. provides water, air, soil and waste quality assessment thanks to a specific technical and scientific know-how of the C.R.S.A. personnel and to a great set of high performance equipments and laboratories for chemical, physical, microbiological and ecotoxicology analysis. 

C.R.S.A. laboratories are equipped for: 

• Chemical analysis: chromatograph and spectrometer
• Physical analysis: on different environment, thermo-gravimeter on materials, electronic microscope
• Microbiological analysis towards the determination of environmental biological quality and the optimization of bioremediation technologies
• Environmental ecotoxicology studies and analysis for impact assessment of pollutants (or pollutants mix) on the environment.

RESEARCH ACTIVITY
C.R.S.A. provides experience and know-how in the development and application of numerical modelling, some of which in house developed, for environmental protection and industrial protection.
C.R.S.A. laboratories, other than analytical analysis, perform researches and tests towards the optimization and the definition of new methodologies and analytical procedures for the compounds assessment in different environmental matrix.

Certifications

C.R.S.A. laboratories are certified SINAL (SIstema Nazionale per l’Accreditamento dei Laboratori – National system of laboratories certification). C.R.S.A. certificate no. 644. 

The centre for research and environmental services  (C.R.S.A. MED INGENGERIA), being an organization with quality and environment management system certified by CERMET following UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 and UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 (reg n.8065), has obtained the certification for "consulting and research services in the environmental field and for chemical, physical, microbiological analysis; analysis and study of environmental ecotoxicology; planning and implementation of pilot plants for the soil recovery process study".
