For the analysis of sites for wind power plants the company can provide:
• Preliminary analysis of the wind: feasibility analysis of the site, analysis and numerical simulation of the wind on medium and small scale. • Analysis of site potential production: selection of the wind generators on the basis of the characteristics of the site; analysis of the Annual Energy Output (AEO) and of the plant use factor; analysis of the guaranteed production. • Studies and assessment of the environmental impact: map of the inter-visibility (MTI) and map of the visibility from the observation points (MVOP) (according to the guide lines of the Ministry of the Cultural Assets). • Consulting for the plant planning: estimation of the Vref (reference velocity) and of the Iref (turbulence index) (according to the CEI-EN 61400-1) for the choice of the wind generators, optimization of the layout of the park for the energy production. • Consulting for the impact management: short term wind and potential production forecast, estimation of confidence intervals, optimization of the long term impact management; verification and validation of the potential expected production. |
