NEW SAILING DOCK AND EXPANSION OF THE TECHNICAL DOCK IN GENOA

MED INGEGNERIA has been charged, from the Port Autority of Genoa, to execute the project coordinator and the detail maritime infrastructure design for the expansion of the marina and technical dock of the “Marina Fiera of Genova”. 

The aim of the project included the following items:
• Calculation, bill of quantities and design of all maritime structures (caissons, piles, docks, land reclamation)
• The influence of the potential infrastructure on the existing architectonic context
• The integration of the project at a territory scale, considering previous and existing infrastructures and buildings and analysing all the urban planning instruments
• The environmental vision: pointing out all the boundary conditions required for the project activities (marine-meteorology aspects, geotechnical survey, etc.); the project environmental impact assessment and mitigate measures to be adopted.

Total value of the infrastructures: 24.750.000,00 euro
