MED INGEGNERIA has developed and completed more than 300 studies and projects for a total value of the designed interventions of about 200 millions €.
The company has a specialized competence in the development and application of standard numerical models including:
• MIKE 21 for off-shore and on-shore wave studies, coastal hydrodynamics, littoral sediment transport, water quality
• RMA, 2D/3D FEM model for river flooding, lagoon circulation, water quality
• HEC e MIKE 11 for rainfall/runoff hydrology, river hydrodynamics, sediment transport and water quality in 1D and quasi-2D systems
• GENESIS e LITPACK for the morphological evolution of beaches

and proprietary mathematical models:
• MED-SUBS, an integrated system of 3D FEM codes for land subsidence simulations;
• MED-F3D, a 3D FEM model for groundwater and water quality simulations;
• MED-CATHY, a coupled distributed surface/groundwater FEM model for water resources analysis. 

The MED INGEGNERIA technical staff is composed by 30 experts: hydraulic and maritime engineers, structural and environmental engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists. 

The experience acquired by the company is testified by many papers published in international scientific journals and conference proceedings.
